District Policy Group President Ilisa Halpern Paul and District Policy
Group Senior Vice President Julie Scott Allen were quoted in the National Journal in an article titled, “Obamacare Replacement May Slow Repeal Efforts.”
The story focused on the GOP’s continued interested in seeking the best way to repeal Obamacare. Ilisa and Julie shared their insights on how Republicans
might move forward. Ilisa warns that Republicans could potentially create new and bigger problems with the Affordable Care Act if they do not first
work on ways to improve it. Following Ilisa's comment, Julie suggests that Republicans start working right away on specific policy areas where support
exists, then continue to work on the harder issues the Affordable Care Act presents.
