Meet Jeanne.

Jeanne Ireland
Jeanne served as Senior Advisor to the Commissioner and Associate Commissioner for Legislation at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) from 2009-2014, where she led high priority policy and legislative initiatives, including negotiations on the Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act and legislation to reform the nation's food safety system.

Prior to her time at the FDA, Jeanne served as Chief Public Health Advisor to former Chairman John D. Dingell on the House Energy and Commerce Committee where she managed legislative efforts to grant FDA new authority over tobacco products and improve the safety of imported food and medical products. She also spent time as Director of Public Policy at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and as minority staff director for the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee’s Subcommittee on Children and Families.

Jeanne Ireland is the principal to Ireland Strategies, LLC. She received a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an A.M. from the University of Chicago.
