Katie is a versatile policy professional with Capitol Hill and nonprofit experience responsible for tracking legislation, researching regulatory developments, drafting memoranda, and representing client interests. She supports the District Policy Group in its efforts to anticipate and exceed client needs.

Katie works with clients including health care professional organizations, patient advocacy groups, agriculture and medical businesses, and a nonprofit research organization, among others. Prior to joining the District Policy Group, Katie worked with the Manhattan Institute and the National Review Institute and served as senior legislative assistant for Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN). During her time with Congresswoman Bachmann, she was responsible for agriculture, energy, environment, natural resources, labor, small business, government oversight, and judiciary issues.

Katie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in political science from Fordham University. She enjoys cooking and watching golf, and has a keen interest in urban development. She lives in Arlington, Virginia with her husband, James.
